A Perfect Copy is just a glimpse into a much larger world of story. It is a moment stolen from the Year 2141. This team of visionary artists, passionate creatives, and fearless dreamers worked tirelessly to bring it to life.

Brittany Marasciulo-Rivera

Creator and Screenwriter

Brittany Marasciulo-Rivera, professionally known as Brittany Amara, is an author, screenwriter, and actress based in New York! She specializes in science fiction and fantasy, and is passionate about creating worlds to disappear into. She is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz's Digital Media, Creative Writing, and Theatre programs, and deepened her studies at Kingston University London, The Stella Adler Studio of Acting, The Barrow Group, and The New York Film Academy. Brittany is represented by Monica Rodriguez at Context Literary Agency, and her first full-length novel is currently out on submission to publishers. A Perfect Copy is a story that means so much to her, and she is beyond grateful for the opportunity to see it come alive on screen!

Samantha Joia

Director

Samantha Joia is a New York based writer, producer and director. She received a BFA in Film and Television Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and is currently an associate producer on a feature length documentary set to be distributed by HBO. Prior to this, she worked as an executive producer’s assistant at Nickelodeon, for an upcoming animated comedy series. She is thrilled to be directing A Perfect Copy and can’t wait to share this story with the world!

Tallia A. Petrone

Producer

Tallia is an indie producer, professional dancer, and esteemed choreographer. She is from New York City and is a graduate of the Joffrey Ballet School Trainee program. After being in front of the camera for several years, Tallia took an interest in the film industry and studied its ins-and-outs privately. She has worked closely with the NYU, Columbia, and Clayton State University film programs, in addition to pursuing indie film work post-graduation. She has collaborated with directors internationally, and most recently produced the short film Healing Plan.

Elizabeth Kurtz

Producer

Liz Kurtz is a New York-based Writer/Producer for theater and film. She holds a BFA in Dramatic Writing through NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a minor in Producing through Stern School of Business. Companies she's worked for include HBO Max, Apple TV+, Annapurna, Amazon Studios, Fever Content, One & Other Productions, and many more.She is the founder of 'art for human sake', a collaborative theater and art performance where 100 % of the ticket proceeds fund Sixth Street Community Center's Emergency Food Distribution. The festival's proceeds have serviced over 700 New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity.
